James Neal Suspended 1 Game For 3rd Period Hits In Game 3

The fallout from Pittsburgh's ugly Game 3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers continued on Tuesday night, when the NHL and Brendan Shanahan handed out suspensions to both James Neal and Arron Asham. Neal was suspended for Game 4, a penalty for his hits on Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux in the same shift in the third period on Sunday. Shanahan delivered his rationale for the one-game suspension in a video review released to the public:

With Penguins on the ropes down 3-0, Neal's loss is a huge blow to their chances to get a win in Philly and start a potential series comeback.
