2012 NHL Playoffs, Penguins Vs. Flyers Game 6: Can Pittsburgh Force A Winner-Take-All Game 7?

The Pittsburgh Penguins travel to Philadelphia on Sunday, looking to steal Game 6 on the road and set up a winner-take-all Game 7 at home in a series they once trailed 3-0.

The Penguins lost the first three games of the series by a combined score of 20-12, and looked all but done for in the 2012 postseason entering Game 4. A 10-3 shellacking of the Flyers, followed by a 3-2 win in Game 5, and Pittsburgh now finds itself with an ever-growing chance to become only fifth team in NHL history to come back a from a 3-0 playoff series deficit.

The Penguins were able to win Game 5 without a point from either Evgeni Malkin or Sidney Crosby. Jordan Staal continues to pick up the slack, as he tallied a hat trick in Game 4 and scored a game-tying goal in Game 5.

If the Penguins were to win on Sunday, the series would return to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
