Braves vs. Pirates preview: Bucs try to clinch final series of season with Kevin Correia

The Pittsburgh Pirates will try to clinch their final series of the season on Tuesday with Kevin Correia on the mound. The Bucs edged out the Braves on Monday night with a 2-1 win, inciting a celebration in Washington as the Nationals clinched the NL East crown with the Atlanta loss. Jeff Locke gave up just one run early in the game, dancing around five walks and letting Starling Marte pick up the offensive slack for the win.

Correia enters Tuesday's game with an 11-11 record and 4.33 ERA. He was hammered in his last outing against the Mets, giving up six runs in less than five innings of work. Correia made just one start against the Braves this season, lasting only 4 1/3 innings. While the Bucs are assured of their 20th straight losing season, the Braves also no longer have much to play for, locked into the first Wild Card spot. Atlanta is scheduled to send Tommy Hanson to the mound.

First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. ET and ROOT Sports will have the broadcast.
