L.A. celebrates the 50th anniversary of Dodger Stadium as the Pirates take on Clayton Kershaw on Tuesday.
The Pirates had to face Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee in their first series against the Phillies, and as their second series of the season begins in Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon (4:10 Eastern; ROOT Sports, 93.7 The Fan), they'll have to take on another very tough pitcher in Clayton Kershaw. (Kershaw pitched just three innings in his first start this season due to stomach flu, however.)
Kevin Correia, meanwhile, makes his 2012 debut for the Pirates. Correia's status may soon be in doubt, as the Pirates may need to remove someone from the rotation once both Charlie Morton and A.J. Burnett return from the disabled list.
The game will mark the 50th anniversary of Dodger Stadium, and there will be a ceremony before the game to honor the 1962 Dodgers.
The other two games in the series will feature Erik Bedard vs. Chad Billingsley (10:10 p.m. Wednesday) and Jeff Karstens vs. Chris Capuano (10:10 p.m. Thursday).
Bucs Dugout's latest podcast features a series preview with Eric Stephen of the Dodgers True Blue LA.
