Reds Vs. Pirates: Pittsburgh Looks To Win 5 In A Row

Stay connected for news and updates

The Pittsburgh Pirates have not won five baseball games in a row since September of 2010, but a win tonight against the Cincinnati Reds would change that as last night's victory over the Reds was Pittsburgh's fourth consecutive victory. Charlie Morton (2-5, 4.27 ERA) takes the mound for the Pirates, and he'll be squaring off against Cincinnati's Homer Bailey (3-3, 4.19).

Morton has struggled as of late, registering a 1-4 record in May, which includes a 5-0 loss against the Reds on the 6th. Bailey, on the other hand, is 2-0, recording a 2.84 ERA in his last three starts. He's 5-0 lifetime against the Pirates with a 1.94 ERA.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m., and it will be televised on ROOT Sports.
