Steelers Vs. Cardinals: Emmanuel Sanders Touchdown And Kevin Kolb Safety Give Steelers 26-14 Lead

After allowing the Arizona Cardinals to sneak back into the game thanks to a 73-yard pass from Kevin Kolb to Larod Stephens-Howling midway through the third quarter, the Steelers stormed back with a drive of their own, culminating in a four-yard touchdown pass from Ben Roethlisberger to Emmanuel Sanders that gave Pittsburgh a 10-point lead (24-14). A safety then extended that lead to 12 points.

Roethlisberger completed a 17-yard pass to Heath Miller early in the drive, then made short passes to Sanders and Antonio Brown that took the Steelers to the Cardinals’ 22 yard line. Then Roethlisberger threw over the middle to Sanders, which put the Steelers at the two yard line, and the pair connected again for the touchdown, with Roethlisberger evading the Cardinals’ pass rush and finding Sanders near the back-right corner of the end zone.

On the Cardinals’ ensuing drive, Kolb picked up an intentional grounding penalty in his own end zone after being pressured by LaMarr Woodley, resulting in a safety. That increased the Steelers’ lead to 12. It’s now 26-14. Here's video of the safety.
