Steelers Injury Report, Week 12: James Harrison And Troy Polamalu Both Probable For Sunday Night Game Against Chiefs

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have had two weeks of rest and preparation when they return to action on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Steelers look to continue their winning ways under Mike Tomlin coming off the bye -- the team has won three of four since 2007, with wins in three consecutive games when Tomlin and his staff have had two weeks to prepare.

Despite the extra week of rest, the Steelers still have some serious concerns on the injury front, namely on defense to three key contributors -- LaMarr Woodley, James Harrison and Troy Polamalu. Woodley will apparently miss his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury originally hurt during the Steelers' win over New England.  Though listed as limited in practice all week, Woodley's involvement has reportedly been limited to non-contact jogging and exercise drills.

James Harrison (back) was limited on Friday but is listed as probable for Sunday night. Knowing Harrison, he'll be out there giving it his best effort, particularly because his running mate on the opposite side, Woodley, won't be available. Steelers fans will have to be patient and wait longer for the two to again be in the lineup together.

Polamalu, meanwhile, participated fully in practice on Friday. He too is listed as probable with the ribs injury sustained during the Steelers' Week 10 win over Cincinnati.
