Troy Polamalu left the Pittsburgh Steelers' 13-9 victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football with what coach Mike Tomlin called after the game "concussion-like symptoms." According to Steelers Depot, citing sources, "a very mild concussion and a stinger" is what forced Polamalu out of the game. Though it's unclear what that injury means for Polamalu's availability next Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, Steelers Depot believes "Polamalu should be good to go" for that contest.

The one-time Defensive Player of the Year suffered the injury in the first period when trying to bring down Chiefs offensive tackle Steve Maneri, who had lined up in the backfield as an eligible receiver on the play. Polamalu's helmet made contact with Maneri's leg. He lay on the field following the play as trainers tended to him, and walked uneasily off the field. Ryan Mundy replaced him at safety.

Tomlin will address the media Tuesday for his weekly press conference. He is expected to offer more details on Polamalu's health then.
