2012 NFL Mock Draft: Steelers Could Target Ohio State Offensive Lineman Mike Adams

Earlier this week, Ryan Van Bibber released SB Nation's 2012 NFL Mock Draft and had pegged Georgia offensive lineman Cordy Glenn going to the Steelers at the end of the first round. Many have the Steelers drafting a big body to put up front on the offensive side of the ball, including CBSSports.com's latest mock draft.

Rob Rang of CBSSports.com and The Sports Xchange has the Steelers plucking a big offensive tackle out of neighboring Ohio, taking Mike Adams with the No. 27 pick in the first round.

Via Rob Rang of CBSSports.com:

The Steelers seemingly patch up their offensive line annually, only to struggle with injuries and consistency up front. Adams (6-6, 320) has the monstrous frame that Pittsburgh has traditionally preferred up front and would reunite the Buckeye left tackle with his old practice partner -- Steelers' 2011 first-round pick DE Cameron Heyward.

Adams missed nearly half the season this year, as he was one of the "Tattoo Five" in Columbus. He has been highly touted at every level, playing right away as a true freshman in Columbus. He would join Santonio Holmes and Heyward as Buckeyes taken in the first round by the Steelers in the last seven years.

Rang also has Penn State's Devon Still going No. 6 overall to the Carolina Panthers.
