NFL Draft 2012: Another Mock Has Steelers Taking Cordy Glenn

Chad Reuter's latest 2012 NFL mock draft features the familiar quartet of Andrew Luck, Matt Kalil, Morris Claiborne and Justin Blackmon in the top four. Penn State's Devon Still goes at No. 16 to the New York Giants and is, as we've come to expect from these mock drafts, the only local player selected in the first round. Reuter is the latest mock drafter to have the Steelers taking Georgia offensive lineman Cordy Glenn near the end of the first round.

The Steelers seem to have trouble keeping their offensive lineman healthy, and love wide tackles with great length and toughness like Glenn, who can play guard or tackle in their scheme.

Glenn often goes in the lower end of the first round of mock drafts, and the Steelers need an offensive lineman. That's not to say the Steelers will be predictable, however - last year, many fans wanted them to take a cornerback or an offensive lineman, but they went with defensive end Cameron Heyward in the first round instead (before taking offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert and cornerbacks Curtis Brown and Cortez Allen in the second through fourth rounds).
