Steelers Vs. Ravens Final Score: Baltimore Dominates Steelers 35-7 In Turnover-Filled Game

The Baltimore Ravens cruised to a relatively easy win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Steelers’ opening game on Sunday, 35-7.

The Steelers turned the ball over an amazing seven times, four of which came on lost fumbles (two by Rashard Mendenhall) and three of which came on interceptions by Ben Roethlisberger. Meanwhile, the Ravens didn’t turn the ball over at all, and Joe Flacco was very efficient, going 17-for-24 with three touchdowns.

The Ravens running game didn’t have much trouble, either. Ray Rice and Ricky Williams each averaged over five yards per carry, with Rice scoring a touchdown as well.

In short, the Ravens won, and they won easily. Other than a 100-yard game from Mike Wallace, there wasn’t much to love here, from the Steelers’ perspective. Expect a lot of reflection on the part of Steelers fans this week.

Pete Wilmoth will have more on the game later here at SB Nation Pittsburgh. In the meantime, check out Behind The Steel Curtain and Baltimore Beat Down.
