NFL Mock Draft 2012: New Mock Has Devon Still To Panthers At No. 8

We linked to SBNation.com's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft earlier, and noted that it had the Steelers taking Ohio State's Mike Adams. That's a pick I don't necessarily love, since if the Steelers are going to take an offensive lineman, a guard would be better than a tackle -- they drafted tackle Marcus Gilbert in the second round last year.

Anyway, the reason I wanted to mention SB Nation's mock again was to point out the presence of Penn State's Devon Still to the Panthers at No. 8:

Carolina could go any number of directions here, though defense is a big priority. The Panthers were soft in the middle of their line. Still bolsters the middle and makes Charles Johnson a more effective rusher off the edge. Dre Kirkpatrick is another option here, as their pass defense had trouble covering anyone.

Still typically showed up in the bottom of the first round just a few weeks ago, but he's become an increasingly popular mock pick by Carolina at No. 8.
