NFL Mock Draft 2012: Steelers Could Take Cordy Glenn, Devon Still Could Be In Top 10

Rob Rang's latest 2012 NFL mock draft features Andrew Luck at the top, as pretty much all mocks do. Wide receiver Justin Blackmon goes to the Rams at No. 2. That's the highest I've ever seen him, although Rang notes that it might make sense for the Rams to trade down a few spots.

Penn State's Devon Still goes to the Carolina Panthers at No. 8; Rang has consistently predicted that the Panthers would pick Still.

Looking further down, Rang officially has the Steelers taking Ohio State offensive lineman Mike Adams, although his entry actually describes Georgia's Cordy Glenn.

The Steelers seemingly patch up their offensive line annually, only to struggle with injuries and consistency up front. Glenn lacks the consistency to earn a first-round grade from all clubs, but the 6-5, 350-pounder has the size the Steelers prefer upfront and, as a rare four-year starter with experience at left tackle, left guard and right guard he has the durability and versatility the team prioritizes on draft day.

That's pretty confusing, since Adams and Glenn both come up a lot as the Steelers' picks in mock drafts, but of the two, I'll take Glenn right now. Glenn is more of a guard (although he has also played tackle), and Adams is a tackle; the Steelers' greater position of need is guard.
