Down seven, the Steelers capitalized on the giveaway to tie it up at 23-23. On two consecutive plays, Ben Roethlisberger threw it from the 31 yard line into the end zone. On the first play, it appeared that Champ Bailey would easily intercept Big Ben and force a touchback. But the ball went right through the hands of the veteran cornerback. With new life, Big Ben would scramble to his right on the subsequent play and hit Jerricho Cotchery crossing the end zone to tie it up. Ben broke the pocket on his gimpy ankle and fired a rope to the end zone.
