The Steelers look to move to 2-2 against the Eagles, but safety Troy Polamalu has limped off the field with an injury.

Injuries are always bad news for NFL teams, but when it involves your all-world safety, it can be game-changing.

Troy Polamalu has been battling a strained calf, and in the second quarter against the Eagles, it looks like he has aggravated that same leg injury.

As of right now, Polamalu's return is questionable.

Michael Vick has been doing the Steelers defense favors, having lost two fumbles early in the contest, but Pittsburgh cannot afford to lose Polamalu for very long. They are struggling to keep pace in the AFC, and their defense hinges on their All-Pro safety being healthy.

Both Michael Vick and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger are off to slow starts, and the score sits at 0-0 before the half. Pittsburgh is averaging 0.8 yards per carry, and the Eagles' LeSean McCoy is still trying to get something going.

Stay tuned for more updates as we learn more about Polamalu.
