Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley left the team's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the second quarter with a hamstring injury.

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley left the team's game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. His return to the game is questionable.

Woodley had some troubles with his hamstring last year, so this is a development fans will want to keep an eye on.

In the game on Sunday, Woodley had been quiet before leaving, as he did not register a tackle or any other defensive stat.

The injuries are beginning to pile up for the Steelers defense, as safety Troy Polamalu left the game late in the first quarter after aggravating his injured calf.

Jason Worilds is the next listed left outside linebacker on the depth chart, so expect him to see some playing time in the absense of Woodley. With the play of linebacker Lawrence Timmons, the loss of Woodley may not be as bad as previously thought.

The Steelers lead the Eagles, 7-0, in the second quarter.
