The Steelers will head out on the road to face the Giants on Sunday, and the game is a hard one to call. OddsShark has the home team favored by a field goal, and the picks from most media outlets have been all over the place this week.
The crew at ESPN is split right down the middle. Six of their twelve panelists have picked the Steelers to come out on top, while the other six are taking the Giants. Both Accuscore and Pick 'em took New York.
Yahoo! only has three writers making picks, and two of them took New York. The Yahoo! users agreed, leaving Jason Cole as the lone selection for the Steelers there. CBS Sports had eight picks, with six of them taking Pittsburgh.
SB Nation's own Joel Thorman made some picks, and he agreed with the game being a tough one to call. Here's what he had to say:
"Every week, there's a game like this, one that I have to flip a coin to pick. The Giants strength is their passing offense (No. 6) and the Steelers strength is their passing defense (No. 1). The coin flip says the Giants protect their home turf. The pick: 21-20, Giants"
The Giants and Steelers are scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon. The game will be carried on CBS.
