A left ankle injury knocked Steelers cornerback Curtis Brown out of Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Curtis Brown suffered a left ankle injury during the second half of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Dale Lolley reports. Brown's return for the game is questionable as the Steelers try to keep their playoff hopes alive.
It's unclear how severe Brown's injury is at this point, but the odds are probably against him returning this week given how little time is remaining in Sunday's game. The Steelers still have starters Ike Taylor and Keenan Lewis going at the position, though this certainly impacts their depth in the secondary.
Pittsburgh's third-round pick in 2011 out of North Texas, Brown has appeared in all 15 games with the Steelers so far this season, recording 26 tackles and a defended pass. In his absence, expect the likes of Cortez Allen and Josh Victorian to see extra playing time.
He recorded one tackle in Sunday's game before leaving.
