2012 NFL Mock Draft: Unconventional New Mock Has Devon Still Falling To Broncos At No. 25

SB Nation's NFL Draft blog, Mocking The Draft, features plenty of unconventional but well-informed takes on draft prospects, and its latest one is unusual and certainly worth reading. Mocking The Draft has the Steelers picking Iowa State offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele in the first round.

As much as the Steelers may need a replacement nose tackle for Casey Hampton, the team can no longer overlook their need on the offensive line. Osemele is a mammoth, physical blocker who has some versatility. He'd infuse the team's offensive line with power and size.

That's not such a surprising pick. But what's odd about this mock, compared to others recently, is that the Carolina Panthers at No. 8 and the Seattle Seahawks at No. 12 both pass on Devon Still and Michael Brockers, the best defensive tackles in the draft. Mocking The Draft has Justin Blackmon falling all the way to the Seahawks (wow) and Still falling all the way to the Denver Broncos at No. 25. That currently looks like it would be a surprisingly poor outcome for Still, who has often gone in the top 10 picks in mock drafts since the start of 2012.
