2012 NFL Draft: NFL Scouting Combine List Features More Than A Dozen Local Players

The NFL Scouting Combine has released its list of players heading to the combine in advance of the NFL Draft. The list is well-stocked with players from local schools. Here they are:

Pitt: Brandon Lindsey, Lucas Nix, Antwuan Reed, Chas Alecxih

Penn State: Devon Still, D'Anton Lynn, Derek Moye, Chaz Powell, Nate Stupar, Johnnie Troutman, Jack Crawford

West Virginia: Bruce Irvin, Najee Goode

Of these players, Still is a likely first-round pick, Irvin is probably about a third-round pick, and Lindsey and a couple others turn up in the later rounds of a bunch of mock drafts as well. Still's performance may turn out to be the biggest local storyline coming out of the combine -- there still isn't widespread agreement on his value, with some mocks predicting he'll go at the bottom of the top 10, and a few others predicting he'll drop out of the first round entirely.

The combine takes place from February 22 to 28.
