The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't typically the most active team in NFL free agency, preferring to draft and develop their talent. The Steelers do occasionally pursue players in free agency, though, and one player in whom they had interest was Chicago Bears free agent tight end Kellen Davis. Davis has apparently re-signed with the Bears, however, according to a report.
So much for Kellen Davis visiting Pittsburgh as @BradBiggs reports the Bears re-signed him to a 2-year contract #steelers

Davis was originally scheduled to make a visit to the Steelers, who are looking to upgrade the tight end position behind Heath Miller. With the Steelers looking to run the football more, it's likely they'll see more tight ends on the field. Davis won't be making that visit now, obviously.
