Steelers Free Agency 2012: Pittsburgh Hoping To Keep Young Talent At Receiver

The Pittsburgh Steelers watched a legend walk out the door this year when Hines Ward was released and then ultimately retired. While old No. 86 won't be out there anymore, the Steelers have have a lot of players that can step in to help replace him; including Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders. The talent they do have at that position is also very young, and the Steelers are hoping to hold onto them for a long time, according to Scott Brown of the Trib.

"When you get below the surface, that's a group of guys who work hard, are legitimately humble and motivate one another, and they have the desire to be the best in the business," Tomlin said. "That's what's exciting about our young group of wide receivers."

Brown, Wallace and Sanders are all under 26 and have greatly improved over the past few years both individually and as a unit. Wallace is a restricted free agent this year while Brown and Sanders will hit the market in a few years.
