NFL Draft 2012: Steelers Invite Cam Johnson For Pre-Draft Visit

Stay connected for news and updates

The defense is a key area that needs addressing in this year's NFL Draft. With one month before the big event, the Steelers are looking at as many defensive prospects as they can. This will include Virginia Cavaliers linbacker/defensive end Cam Johnson, according to Steelers Depot.

Johnson played in both a 3-4 and a 4-3 defense in his time at Virginia so the experience playing both positions would be well suited in playing in the 3-4 defense that the Steelers have.

Johnson had four sacks last season with Virginia as the Cavaliers made the Chik-Fil-A Bowl against Auburn. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Johnson clocked a 40 time of 4.81 seconds. He's 6-foot-3 and weighs 278 pounds.
