NFL Draft Grades 2012: Steelers Receive 'A-' From Sports Illustrated

The praise regarding the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2012 draft continues to pour in, as Sports Illustrated becomes the latest to give the Steelers high marks in their draft grades.

Like most analysts, SI lauds the work the Steelers did, primarily with their attempts to build an offensive line while taking advantage of prospects that had fallen into the later rounds.

"Not sure how the Steelers did it, but G David DeCastro (24), T Mike Adams (56) and NT Alameda Ta'amu (109) all fell into their lap, and all fit the Pittsburgh scheme (even if Adams brings some character concerns). The Sean Spence pick at 86 was the only question mark, because Spence doesn't appear to be a great fit for the Steelers' 3-4. Grade: A-minus"

If the prospects the Steelers have acquired live up to their potential, the winning tradition of the Steelers appears ready to continue.
