The Pittsburgh Steelers have already had one back up quarterback in free agency work out for another team, as Byron Leftwich worked out with the Indianapolis Colts. Now, the Steelers other back up quarterback is working out with the St. Louis Rams according to a report.
Titans DE William Hayes completed his free-agent visit w/Rams on Weds. Also, Steelers QB Dennis Dixon visit confirmed; Rams need backup.

Dennis Dix was originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth-round of the 2008 NFL Draft and has been a back up for the Steelers most of his career. Dixon has had some spot duty with the Steelers, including one start in the 2010 season, but tore the meniscus in his knee. The Rams are looking for a back up quarterback and it looks like the Steelers may need to be in the market as well.
