Former Steelers linebacker James Farrior is still looking to play in 2012, as to football commentator Ralph Cindrich reports that the veteran is still looking for a "championship opportunity."
What does that mean? Well, the writers at Behind the Steel Curtain have some ideas, as they feel that Farrior could be waiting for a contender such as the New England Patriots to give him a shot.
"Few teams in the league look to sign veteran free agents facing the twilight of their careers as much as the Patriots do. They've recently gotten high production out of DE Kevin Carter and OG Brian Waters. This year, they've brought in WR Brandon Lloyd, OG Robert Gallery and RB Joseph Addai, recently of the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts, respectively."
If a contending team doesn't come calling in the near future, then Farrior is expected to announce his retirement.
