With plenty of news coming out of the Pittsburgh Steelers camp, some other important news on the depth chart front might fly under the radar. But movements on the offensive line and notable battles at safety and running back are sure to have lasting impact.
Despite some changes during the Steelers' first two preseason games, it seems that the offensive guard position has settled nicely for Pittsburgh. Willie Colon and David DeCastro have entrenched themselves in the left and right guard positions, respectively. Offensive guard Ramon Foster, who started in Colon's place in the Steelers' second game, is the likely backup at OG.
Safety hasn't been much of a concern for the Steelers in recent years, given the prowess of Troy Polamalu and Ryan Clark, but with Will Allen and Robert Golden competing for the fourth spot on the chart, behind Ryan Mundy, there could be some concerns about depth.
