The Steelers will try to finish the preseason on a high note when the Panthers come to Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
Pittsburgh just wants to get out of the game healthy after watching their starting rookie left guard get carted off the field in Buffalo with a torn MCL. The Steelers have looked good thus far with impressive showings against the Bills and Colts.
The offense has looked strong with Ben Roethlisberger spearheading the attack. Big Ben has been sensational in the new scheme of offensive coordinator Todd Haley, throwing the ball for nice yardage in the early going.
On the other side of the ball, the Pittsburgh defense has shown signs that despite age, it can still get the job done.
It's not expected that many starters will play an extended amount of time if at all on Thursday, with the regular season less than a week and a half away.
