Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp: Isaac Redman, Willie Colon Sit Out Saturday's Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

Given how long and strenuous NFL training camp is, it comes as no surprise that players are getting dinged up. After suffering minor injuries on Friday night, running back Isaac Redman and offensive lineman Willie Colon sat out Saturday's practice, per Dave Bryan and Steelers Depot.

As you'd expect for minor injuries, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin deemed both injuries "day-to-day," and both should be expected back in practice sooner rather than later.

Yet the story is, as always, Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger, who admitted that he has a small tear in his rotator cuff earlier in the week, reportedly had his foot stepped on, and finished practice with an ice pack around his ankle. Just like Colon and Redman, Tomlin deems the injury day-to-day.
