2012 NFL Football Hall Of Fame: Jack Butler, Dermontti Dawson, Chris Doleman, Curtis Martin Inducted On Saturday Night

The 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday night had a decidedly Pittsburgh feel to it, as four of the six members of the 2012 class either played for the Steelers or Panthers:

Amid all the fanfare, Jack Butler delivered a simple, to-the-point speech in taking his place along with five others in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

Butler, who spent nine years with the Steelers, was enshrined along with former Steelers center Dermontti Dawson and two former Pitt stars, defensive end Chris Doleman and running back Curtis Martin.

In their speeches, Butler and Dawson both referenced and thanked Steelers legends of the past who had also been enshrined in Canton, while Martin spoke of escaping his troubled youth in East Pittsburgh and Doleman specifically thanked his coaches at Pitt for guiding his career in life in the right direction.

Defensive lineman Cortez Kennedy and offensive lineman Willie Roaf rounded out the class that received their Hall of Fame gold jackets and busts on Saturday evening in Canton.
