Texas A&M Corpus Christi Vs. West Virginia Score Update: 'Eers Hold 32-28 Lead At Halftime

The West Virginia Mountaineers tipped off against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders, looking to improve to 7-2. In the first half, the Islanders were able to keep the game close, going into halftime down by just four points. The Islanders actually led the game early, going on an 8-2 run to open the game. The 'Eers battled back however, taking back the lead. The 'Eers held and maintained the lead until the Islanders pulled within four before the half.

Guard Chris Hawkins-Mast hit on all five of his free throws to score 13 points and four rebounds, leading the way for the Islanders. Guard Terrence Jones also picked up another 8 points in the first half. For West Virginia, guards Darryl Bryant and Jabarie Hinds each came away with six points in the first half, while Pat Forsyth and Kevin Noreen both picked up four rebounds and three points each off the bench.
