Georgetown Vs. West Virginia Final Score: 'Eers Take Down Hoyas, 74-62

The No. 9 ranked Georgetown Hoyas came into Morgantown hoping to keep their momentum going, but the West Virginia Mounteers were able to take down the Hoyas 74-62. The Mountaineers held a slight two-point lead over the Hoyas at halftime, but the 'Eers were able to pull away in the second half an secure the upset victory.

Darryl Bryant proved too much for the Hoyas to handle, knocking down 25 points in the game while Kevin Jones put up 22 points and 16 rebounds against the Hoyas. Georgetown just couldn't get enough going on offense, shooting just 14.3% from three-point range. Hollis Thompson led the Hoyas in scoring, picking up 20 points and five rebounds. Two other Hoyas wound up with double digit points, as Jason Clark and Henry Sims both picked up 10 points.

Georgetown Vs. West Virginia Score Update: Mountaineers Hold Two-Point Lead At Halftime, 29-27

The West Virginia Mountaineers are hosting the No. 9-ranked Georgetown Hoyas, who are coming off a big come-from-behind victory. At halftime, the 'Eers hold a 29-27 lead over the Hoyas thanks to a late jumper by Darryl Bryant. The Hoyas took an early lead on the Mountaineers, but WVU battled back and took their own lead, but Georgetown was able to keep the game close heading into the half.

Bryant has just six points at halftime, but forward Kevin Jones is carrying the way for the 'Eers. Jones has 14 points in the first half with seven rebounds. Georgetown forward Hollis Thompson is having a nice half as well, with 13 points and two rebounds. Both teams are getting great play from their forwards, but someone else will need to step up for one team to separate.
