Peter G. Aiken-US PRESSWIRE

The West Virginia Mountaineers are preparing for Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein on Saturday. What does a player like him bring to the table for the Wildcats?

The West Virginia Mountaineers face the Kansas St. Wildcats on Saturday and that means the 'Eers must face Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein. Klein has thrown for 1,074 yards and rushed for 510. He has scored 17 total touchdowns this season, 10 of them via rushing.

In an interview with John Harris of the Trib, Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen is aware that his team is facing one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country on Saturday:

"You look at them throwing the ball, and it doesn't look good, but it goes exactly where you want it to go," WVU coach Dana Holgorsen said.

Since being named the starter for the Wildcats, Klein has led the team to a 16-3 overall record, 6-0 this season. Klein has completed about 67 percent of his passes this season and has averaged 5.2 yards per carry on the ground. In the last two games he's played, he has run for more than 100 yards in both and has scored five rushing touchdowns.
