Due to the West Virginia Mountaineers' big conference status and Pittsburgh's proximity to their Morgantown campus, they actually entered their game against the Gonzaga Bulldogs as favorites even though they're the No. 10 seed. Those who decided to throw down their hard-earned money on the Zags and take the points won't be too happy with their decision ... because they didn't take Gonzaga straight-up. They're absolutely creaming WVU, and they're leading 39-21 at halftime.
The Mountaineers are shooting an absolutely woeful 23 percent from the floor. That pretty much tells the entire story of how this half has gone. Gonzaga is shooting 50 percent from the floor, they're 6-of-10 from three-point land, and they're winning the rebounding battle. It's a pretty comprehensive beating thus far.
