West Virginia University will begin Conference play this weekend.

West Virginia University currently sits as the No. 7-ranked team in the coaches' poll, as well as in the seventh spot in the Big 12 standings. Of course, the 3-0 Mountaineers, who are coming off a 31-21 victory over Maryland this past Saturday, have yet to play a conference game.

However, that will change when the team kicks off their conference schedule against Baylor at Milan Puskar Stadium on Saturday. With the majority of team's yet to begin in their conference schedule – only four teams have played a conference game – this is how the Big 12 standings look heading into this weekend:

1. TCU (1-0 in conference, 3-0 overall)
2. Kansas State (1-0, 4-0)
3. Baylor (0-0, 3-0)
4. Iowa State (0-0, 3-0)
5. Texas (0-0, 3-0)
6. Texas Tech (0-0, 3-0)
7. West Virginia (0-0, 3-0)
8. Oklahoma State (0-0, 2-1)
9. Oklahoma (0-1, 2-1)
10. Kansas (0-1, 1-3)
