West Virginia Suspends Highly Touted Freshman Noah Cottrill Indefinitely

News out of Morgantown today, and it isn’t good. Coach Bob Huggins has suspended hyped freshman guard Noah Cottrill indefinitely. The reason is still unknown.

WVU coach Bob Huggins announced the suspension of freshman guard Noah Cottrill on Friday.

Huggins offered no details except to say Cottrill was suspended for conduct “unbecoming of a Mountaineer.”

Cottrill, an all-state point guard, graduated from Logan High School.

He averaged nearly 26 points per game at season at Mountain State Academy in Beckley and spent his first two years at Poca High School.

He made news as a high school freshman when he gave a verbal commitment to the Mountaineers.

This news follows the suspension and reinstatement of Cottrill's teammate Casey Mitchell.
