Steelers Vs. Jets: Pittsburgh Prepares For Santonio Holmes

In his Steelers career, Santonio Holmes had 235 catches for 3835 yards and 20 touchdowns, none more important than his game winning touchdown catch to put Pittsburgh over the top in Super Bowl XIII.  He was also a productive member of a wide receiving corps that carried quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to his first 4,000 yard season in 2009.

Now, however, following an offseason trade, Holmes now catches passes for the Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez. After serving a four-game drug suspension to start the season, Holmes has 41 receptions for 620 yards and four touchdowns.

His former Steelers teammates are excited to face him, though, including safety Ryan Clark.

"I'm excited about it," Clark said. "First of all, excited because he's playing well. I think he's an amazing player. And despite all the outside stuff people say about him, he was a good teammate. He's a good guy in the locker room -- never any problem in the locker room, didn't have an attitude, wasn't arrogant -- so it's good to see him doing well.

"Next week I hope he doesn't catch a pass."

Holmes caught two passes for 57 yards in the Jets' loss to Miami on Sunday.
