There's a Steelers game tonight, but don't forget that there's a hockey game too, as the Penguins take on the Washington Capitals in a game that anticipates the matchup of the Winter Classic. Sidney Crosby will look to extend his points streak to 23 games.
The Pens have called up forward Dustin Jeffrey and goalie John Curry from Wilkes Barre/Scranton, as Arron Asham and Brent Johnson deal with injuries. Jeffrey had a goal and an assist in his first game with the Pens a couple weeks back, but the Pens sent him back to the minors on December 15. Jeffrey has 32 points in 27 AHL games, while Curry has a 2.33 goals against average for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this year.
Johnson suffered a groin injury in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers. Asham has a lower-body injury and is questionable for tonight.
