BCS Countdown and Bowl Selection shows will air tonight on ESPN. The BCS Countdown show will be at 8:15, and at that point they'll announce the actual BCS standings. Then at 9:00, ESPN will begin announcing all the bowls in a show that lasts for two hours.
↵Here's what to expect. Oregon will play Auburn in the national championship game. Wisconsin and TCU should meet in the Rose Bowl. Virginia Tech, after winning the ACC, should go to the Orange Bowl to face Stanford. The Sugar Bowl should be Ohio State and Arkansas. That leaves Big East representative Connecticut for the Fiesta Bowl to play Oklahoma. There's actually a chance that the Orange Bowl could take UConn, but I can't believe they'd deliberately turn their bowl into a laughingstock like that, given that UConn is a complete joke of a BCS team.
↵Among local teams, Penn State now looks like a good bet for the Outback Bowl in Tampa at 1:00 PM on New Year's Day. West Virginia could go to the Champs Sports Bowl on December 28 at 6:30 PM in Orlando. And Anson Whaley at Cardiac Hill thinks Pitt could go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte.
