Pens have pieces to pick up

Fresh off the disappointment of being bounced from the second round of the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs, the Pittsburgh Penguins have some pieces to pick up before next season and another run at the Cup.

With a limited amount of money to spend and stay within the hard salary cap, the Pens must re-sign or replace star defensemen Sergei Gonchar, grinding forward Matt Cooke and a host of other depth forwards and defensemen to round out their team.

It's bound to be a busy summer for General Manager Ray Shero and the rest of the front office.  Buckle up.
