While unconfirmed by the University of Pittsburgh, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette believes that incoming recruit J.J. Moore has qualified academically, meaning the team will need to trim its current roster by one. By his account, it's looking more and more like the player leaving will be Dwight Miller.
Miller struggled a bit last year and did not get much playing time. With the emergence of Travon Woodall and J.J. Richardson, Miller appeared to be the odd man out.
The situation will likely be best for all involved as Miller would have a hard time cracking the rotation as Pitt is expected to be one of the nation's deepest teams next year.
