The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed their two remaining fifth-round draft selections, Chris Scott and Crezdon Butler, leaving only first-round center Maurkice Pouncey and second-round outside linebacker Jason Worilds unsigned.
Scott, an offensive tackle from Tennessee, could provide versatile depth along the line, as he can play guard, as well. Butler, a cornerback out of Clemson figures to compete for a roster spot on a team that has plenty of youth and question marks at the position behind veteran standout Ike Taylor.
Pittsburgh released rookie free agent safety Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith from UTEP to make room for the new draft picks.
