Pitt recently revealed its Big East basketball schedule. The school will play each Big East school at least once and gets home/away series against West Virginia, Villanova, and South Florida.
↵No Big East schedule can be considered easy. However, Pitt’s schedule is likely going to be a bit easier than last year’s.
↵The Panthers have a home/away series with South Florida, one of the lesser teams in the conference. They also get some of the annual heavyweights such as Connecticut, Syracuse, Villanova, and West Virginia at home. And while there are some difficult road matchups, there are plenty of games against teams that typically do not contend in the Big East such as Providence, DePaul, Rutgers, South Florida, and St. John’s.
↵All in all, this is probably a somewhat favorable schedule for Pitt.
