The Pittsburgh Pirates returned to their familiar losing ways on Tuesday night after taking the series opener against the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Don't blame starting pitcher Jeff Karstens. The right hander was solid, if not spectacular, giving up just two earned runs in six innings of work. The Pirates couldn't muster anything against Cubs starter Ted Lilly, who scattered six hits over seven innings while striking out five and walking one. The NL central foes conclude their three game series at Wrigley Field tomorrow afternoon.
