Former Pitt cornerback Darrelle Revis, possibly the NFL’s top cover corner, is seeking a new contract. While it’s unclear exactly how much he’s looking for, it’s believed to be in the area of $15 million per season. That figure is 15 times the $1 million salary he is scheduled to make in 2010.
↵Earlier this year, there was talk that he might hold out. While Revis hasn’t guaranteed he would do that, he did hold out of Thursday’s OTA session with the Jets.
