The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin just signed a three-year extension with the team.
This ought to put rest any lingering rumors that the Steelers brass were considering letting Tomlin walk at the end of the 2010 season. Of course, SB Nation Pittsburgh tried to stop the whispers a long time ago.
Financial terms of the contract have yet to be released.
Tomlin, 38, is 31-17 over his first three seasons with the team and led the franchise to its sixth Super Bowl victory in 2008.
