Buccos With Most Productive First Inning Since....?

A quick perusal of the record books confirms that the Pittsburgh Pirates fared better in the first inning at the plate tonight than they have in over 21 years. The last time a Pirates team scored nine runs in the first inning was all the way back in 1989. Will Brad Lincoln and/or the Pirates’ bullpen be able to hold onto the sizable lead? Let’s sure hope so.
