Pitt landed a total of seven players on the Greentree All-Summer League first and second teams.
↵Expected starters for 2010-11 Ashton Gibbs, Gary McGhee, and Gilbert Brown all made the first team roster. Gibbs was also named the League MVP.
↵The most encouraging thing for Pitt fans may have been the play of second-year player, J.J. Richardson, who also was a first-team member. Richardson showed signs last year of eventually becoming a potential contributor and by all accounts, his performance during the Summer League this year was extremely encouraging.
↵Lamar Patterson, Talib Zanna, and incoming freshman, J.J. Moore, were named to the second team.
↵Pitt’s seven players led all schools. Duquesne had four and Robert Morris, two.
