To honor the distinguished group of college football players who stand out for the positive influence they have in their communities, Allstate Insurance Company and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced the 112 student-athletes nominated for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. It is the most ever in the 19-year history of the award.

Honorees must be active with a charity, service organization, or in their community, and in good standing academically. A team of 22 players from all divisions will be selected by a panel comprised of former award winners and current media members. From that list, fans will be able to vote for a team captain on ESPN.com.

Joining Romeus on the list are three other Big East players and Penn State lineman Stefan Wisniewski.
