The Pirates have promoted relievers Wil Ledezma and Steven Jackson to take the places of Lincoln and Donnelly on the roster. Ledezma pitched brilliantly at Class AAA Indianapolis and is probably worth a flier right now even though he’s never had much success in the majors. Jackson hasn’t pitched nearly as well for Indianapolis, but he’ll probably be demoted again in a few days anyway, when the Pirates need to call up another starter. Ledezma and Jackson will be available at the game tonight.
